Please join us for our introductory wellness event, THE ARTIST'S ROLE [self-care sessions] on Saturday, October 11th, 1:00-7:00 pm in the heart of Newark's Arts and Education District during Newark Arts Festival.
Event schedule:
1:00 pm Doors open
1:30-2:30 pm Chair yoga with Catherine Rogers: great for beginners, seniors, people with limited mobility
3:00-4:00 pm Gentle yoga and meditation with Nyota: Great for all levels. Beginners welcome.
4:30-5:30 pm Guided acoustic meditative Soundbath with ByHaze: Combining singing bowls, affirmations, ambient guitar & live vocals
6:00-7:00 pm Live performances
The event will feature performances by spoken word artist, Tehsuan Glover, singer/songwriter, Euphony, and lyricist/rapper Cyph Two.
Vegan & Plant Based Catering by Garbondzo.
Complimentary 10-minute massage provided by Probody Massage between 2:30 and 6:00 pm.
